It is mandatory for all commercial buildings offered for sale or rent to have an Energy Performance Certificate at the commencement of marketing. This certificate is currently valid for 10 years. |

For clarity, a certificate is required on any commercial property that is or is capable of being heated. There are a few exceptions, mainly agricultural. We would be happy to advise. |
